JOCK JAMS, Juniors! 4/8/2020 Week 1, Day 3

Today's Theme will Feature our NP Juniors, Jocks, and Jamming out! We have all felt the positive energy that a good jam brings to your workout. Let the Juniors lead us in challenge for our JAM! Juniors?!?!?!?!


Physical Challenge: Let's have some fun!! Step out of your comfort zone and create a fun dance move or tik tok to your favorite jam and share with 3 friends. Support each other, remember being vulnerable takes courage, and this is for fun!! FEEL NO SHAME! The Goal is to dance and "get your jam on" for 30 minutes. Get creative....costumes and props encouraged, but not required. (One song that will always bring me to my feet..."It's Tricky"-SK)







Nutrition Challenge: Jam...a splendid treat! Research the nutritional content of 3 different jams and share with whomever does the grocery shopping in your family to pick the best one. Peanut butter and jam sandwich is an amazing snack for growing strong athletes. What other snacks???


Many of us are finding a new way to cook and prepare snacks. We can't just run to the store for any items we might need. SO, take a look around your cupboards and fridge to create 2 healthy snacks you can create with jam. IF you do not have jam, use any fruit!!
