Physical Challenge
In sticking with the agility theme for the week, we've included a link detailing an example of an obstacle course. Part 1: We want you to create an obstacle course to be as fun and challenging as your imagination will allow! Included in this challenge is making up your own rules and exercises. Here's ours: https://youtu.be/KcQqUDQyp_E
You've been hopping, jumping, and practicing your agility all week. Let's see if you've already made some improvements.
Part 2: Test OR Retest Shuttle Run: Set up cones 10 meters apart and find your score from earlier in the week. Let's RETEST! You have up to 3 trials to attempt to break your previous record.
Spiritual Challenge
When you hear the word meditation, what thoughts come to mind? Many people associate meditation with a religion, and think it can only be practiced by devout monks that have seemingly endless patience and very flexible hips. The word meditate actually comes from the latin root of meditari, meaning to measure or to contemplate.
Meditation takes MANY different forms, and it is easy to find a technique that can help with stress relief, can improve your sleep, and improve your concentration.
YOUR CHALLENGE: There's a free and easy application called 'insight timer' that I'd like you to try as part of the challenge today. Here's a link for those wishing to complete this challenge on a laptop or phone and don't want to download the application: Here's an introduction video that will only take one minute and is very relaxing!
Happy relaxation!
