Full Body Friday!

 

Physical Challenge:

This week we have focused on your core and activation during your workouts. This is a full body workout for you guys but make sure you do not cheat and use your CORSET!!


We want to share a workout that our WDM clinician/Track Coach, Phil McCullough, created. If you have a medicine ball that's great, but if not, then you can use a milk jug almost full of water. See how many rounds you can complete for your workout, up to 3 if you feel ambitious. :)


 

Educational Challenge:

You know what time it is!!! It's quiz time. You've watched a few videos this week regarding mindfulness, SMART goals and confidence. Now it's time to test your knowledge... Click the link below to take the quiz for the week on Kahoot!


 

Social Challenge:

We know that you miss your friends and doing fun activities. Along with the theme for the week, we want you to be MINDFUL about your grandparents or other older relatives. They probably haven't gone anywhere or seen anyone in almost 2 months!!!!! This goes for your elderly neighbors, extended family members and friends.


The Challenge: Call OR Zoom THREE family members, neighbors, or friends that you haven't talked to in a while. We know this time is tough and we are all wanting to be done with social distancing. For right now, we can have fun with what we have. Take a screenshot with your family member, neighbor or friend and post it to the rock post forum for bonus points!

 

Nutritional Challenge: Mindful Eating


Challenge is to find a piece of chocolate>>>Blindfold yourself>>>put the chocolate in your mouth>>>don't chew>>>just hold it on your tongue>>>breathe and savor what you taste or feel. (if your chocolate has nuts or something that needs chewed, please chew and don't choke.)
