Week 6, Day 3, 5/13/2020

Physical Challenge & Spiritual Challenge



This week is all about running, we didn't think a Zoom video would be the best way to give you information since you all might not have access to a treadmill. So our challenge for you is to go for a run then complete the runner's exercises in the video above! Be sure to complete 1 min on each side for each exercise, this should come out to a total of 8 minutes of hip strengthening after you've gone on your run.


For the spiritual challenge we want you to think back to when we talked about conscious breathing. We challenge you to do some conscious breathing techniques while you complete your bout of hip strengthening exercises.


 

Educational Challenge

STOP! Before you reach for another bottled water, you need to watch this video and see just where that bottle came from AND where it will end up! This video will provide background about the many environmental effects of plastic and hopefully get us all thinking twice before we opt for convenience over substance!
